In April 2018, when we decided to make the transition from home bakery to a brick and mortar store, we NEVER DREAMED we’d outgrow our amazing Locust St. location after just one year…..but that’s exactly what’s happened!!

Our first year in business has been so much more than we ever expected…..we realized early on that baking the volume of cupcakes, cheesecakes and other sweet treats that we were selling in-store, providing for special orders and supplying our wholesale partners, weddings and other large events, would require a lot more space than was available at Locust St.

My husband made plans to renovate a portion of the building where his business, Esser Custom Cabinets operates at 3359 Jackson and in November 2018 we had a brand new commercial kitchen! Baking and selling in the same location feels like the next best step:)

We can’t wait for you to visit the new storefront!!!!

We’re looking forward to being open more days, extending our hours, no parking meters;), New Friends and neighbors, and everything that year #2 has in store for us.

The move most definitely comes with mixed emotions. We will miss our Locust St. location so much! Our neighbors, amazing businesses and all the guests that live in the area have made us feel at home and so very welcome. Most of all, our amazing landlords, who happen to literally be family worked with us to renovate and create a wonderful space to sell our sweet treats for the past year. Thank you Janice and Kevin!!!

We will miss doing business in downtown Dubuque but are equally excited to locate to Dubuque’s north end. We’ve been residential “northenders” for 22 years now and can’t wait to have not one but two small businesses located in this part of Dubuque.
